Not only looking at your own life, but also always having a look at how the people in the area are doing – that goes without saying for Frank and Laura. As HOPE Mallorca e. V. and the Bodegas Bordoy approached Frank and asked if he was participating in a charitable event as an artist, he didn’t hesitate for a second. The result is a beautifully designed wine barrel that is now being auctioned.
Bulls and the island on one barrel!
Of course, it didn’t take long until it became clear what the motto of the work of art should be. After all, Frank Krüger is known for his bulls and these are an excellent match for Mallorca. This is how a unique wine barrel was created in the last few weeks that not only makes the hearts of fans of Frank Krüger’s art beat faster.
Last week the time had come: the barrel was completed live on Frank Krüger’s Facebook page! Painted in rich black, the barrel is literally surrounded by great bulls and an island sculpture has been attached to the lid. Incidentally, the bulls and the island are made of the same aluminum that Frank uses as a base for his works of art. This means that connoisseurs can recognize the wine barrel as a “real Frank Krüger” from afar!
HOPE Mallorca: Uncomplicated help for everyone!
Doing good with art – Frank Krüger and his wife Laura already did that last year and helped many people in the municipality of Capdepera by auctioning some works of art. Now, in cooperation with the non-profit association HOPE Mallorca e. V. and Bodegas Bordoy people can be helped all over the island – by auctioning a special work of art in the form of a wine barrel.
For many months the association has been doing incredible things to help the many people here on the island who are in need due to the circumstances. Everywhere there is reports about the commitment of the volunteers and even the Spanish media are now picking up on the topic and showing what great things can happen when people get together and want to do something good. Frank and Laura are proud to be part of it with the wine barrel and hope that a lot of bids will be made for it.
