Sometimes the ideas that you don’t even think about that long are the best! This is also the case with Art Monday – the weekly event in the Galeria Frank Krüger in Cala Ratjada. As soon as the thought was there, the first event found a few days later and was a complete success. Meanwhile, Monday evening in the gallery is so popular that the series of events is even being extended!
Art Monday: The gallery as a meeting place!
Hold a small get-together every Monday for a month, that was the original idea behind Art Monday! In the Galeria Frank Krüger in Cala Ratjada, the rooms were simply ideal and with a glass of sparkling wine, beer or even water, the art can be enjoyed even better. The first Art Monday took place three weeks ago and Frank and Laura were looking forward to the visit of those interested in art in the evening.
The first evening of this kind has now been followed by two more and it has been shown: The idea is a direct hit! In the evenings, not only art lovers meet in the great atmosphere, but also the community that Frank and his wife Laura have built up on social networks. The works of art are explored together, Frank and Laura take a lot of time for explanations and the great evening atmosphere, which can be enjoyed from the balconies, ensures a relaxed atmosphere.
A place to come together
What Frank and Laura are particularly enthusiastic about, however: Many who have already exchanged views on the couple’s Facebook lives and weekend shows via the Facebook chat will now meet on Art Monday, get to know each other in real life and have a great evening with good conversations together. An event like this couldn’t be any better, right?
For this reason, Frank and Laura have decided not only to offer Art Monday until October 4th (as originally planned), but also to take the rest of the Mondays with them in October. So if you are planning a visit to the island now or are spending the winter here anyway, you should note the dates in the calendar: Every Monday evening in October, from 8 p.m. to 10.30 p.m., Galeria Frank Krüger is open and looks forward to you!
