A sea of voices, soft music and here and there a call penetrates from the paseo to the new Galeria Frank Krüger in Cala Ratjada – and the artist stands on the balcony absorbing the background noise. That sounds like life, like joy, like everyday life in the beautiful holiday destination and it makes you happy. At the same time, Frank’s gaze slides across the paseo to the harbor. He watches the waves, sees the boats come in and out and can enjoy the sun playing on the water. All of this is framed by that very special light for which Mallorca is known. Sounds heavenly, doesn’t it?
For the artist Frank Krüger, his new gallery is a gift for which he is really grateful. Not only could he return to Cala Ratjada with it. No, it has also turned out to be a real source of inspiration and inspires Frank anew every day. This incredible view, which is probably unique in the world for a gallery, and the life around it, let the artist’s creativity get going. So he has now started with the first work of art in the new gallery and is enjoying his time in the new rooms very much! Having one more place to inspire him is a real gift for Frank!
Inspiration and love are close together!
Anyone who knows Frank Krüger also knows about his love for the city of New York! The colorful, loud hustle and bustle in the city, the pulsation – all of this fascinates Frank very much. And so New York quickly became a place of inspiration for him and he returned from his travels not only with great works by other artists, but also with a suitcase full of ideas.
Frank feels the same way when he is out and about on the island with his Harley, discovering and enjoying the most beautiful corners on two wheels. Here, too, the love of the hobby is great – and this is where Frank finds his inspiration. You can see that there are certainly parallels to be found. That is why the gallery in Cala Ratjada with the wonderful view fits into the series of sources of inspiration, because Frank loves this place and this view very much!
