When one thinks of a ballerina painting, the first thought is often of something rather calm and classical. Pastel tones and a softer depiction of the subject are commonly chosen here. Not so with Frank Krüger! The artist has captured the ballerina in all her beauty and elegance within the context of Pop Art, creating a truly special piece of art. And nothing about it reminds one of the typical representations of a ballerina.

The ballerina painting is done in oil on an aluminum background, but that’s not the only thing that makes it very different.
