A few weeks ago I presented the bull sculpture Toro del Mar at an exhibition in the Cap Vermell Grand Hotel, which since then has repeatedly delighted guests and is a frequent photo motif. In addition to the sculpture, the painting “Bull Jarol” was also exhibited outside the hotel – and now had a very special visitor there!
VIP visit!
At the Cap Vermell Grand Hotel, many prominent guests enjoy the island in the beautiful surroundings and tranquility. A few days ago Sadhguru was also a guest in the hotel. The Indian guru teaches Isha Yoga and is a bestselling author and mystic who also supports many social and environmental initiatives. He is revered and celebrated by countless people worldwide for his work and his teachings.
While staying at the Cap Vermell Hotel, he videotaped in front of the bull Jarol for his 10.2 million Instagram followers, sharing his take on lifelong learning – while humorously including the bull. A special moment for me, of course, because my art was presented to many people all over the world “almost incidentally”. And I’m sure many were also inspired by it! Because the bull Jarol had already attracted admiring looks.
Bull Jarol – enthusiasm inevitable!
In recent years I have painted many bull motifs, even though I had originally always resisted it. It’s a good thing that my wife Laura was able to assert herself and that I started doing it at some point. Many years have passed since then and at some point I even got the nickname “The Bull Painter”! I think what sets my bulls apart is the love for details and of course the colors I use – which really come into their own on the aluminum background.
Bull Jarol inspires with a strong red on brushed aluminum. Red is also the favorite color of bulls for many of my customers, because it once again underlines the temperament and strength of the beautiful animals. And so that the joy is not spoiled, the painting was finished with four coats of car clear coat after completion and is therefore also suitable for outdoor use without any problems. If there is currently no more space for the 140×140 cm work of art in the living area, then maybe it can make the terrace an even nicer place?
