In the last few months we have repeatedly reported about Frank’s bull sculptures here in the blog and of course also in social media. From the first idea to the production to the final design, there were many steps and each one has ensured that we can admire these really great bulls today. And with every new sculpture that Frank presents, it seems to get even better and the wow effect hits!
Wow factor to the power of three!
Some of the bull sculptures that Frank had specially made have already been completed and can be seen in the galleries. In addition to some smaller specimens, there are also large sculptures, all of which have a wow effect. With this bull, however, there is the wow factor to the power of three! We almost don’t know where to start with the description! First of all, of course, the rich blue is noticeable from afar! Depending on the incidence of light, the shade of blue seems to change again and again and that alone creates a WOW. A total of 16 coats of paint have been applied!
But that’s not all that stands out with the paint. Because if you get closer to the bull, you will immediately see the next wow effect: the paint is not just a great color, but if you look closely, it also looks as if the surface is made of cracked glass. The effect is achieved solely by the special paint and is anything but ordinary! But that’s not all, because the third wow effect can be seen when looking at the horns and hooves. These are completely enclosed in gold leaf and are the icing on the cake, so to speak, in the overall picture.
Something for every taste!
We have to admit that this blue bull sculpture is really something special that you don’t see every day. Frank and Laura couldn’t get enough of it when they arrived at their finca. There she has a temporary place until hopefully she can move to a new home soon! And until then, Frank and Laura will certainly often stop in front of her and admire the incredibly great paintwork!
In addition to the blue bull, there are already a number of other sculptures in different designs, with each sculpture being unique. Whether it’s a small bull in fine silver, a large one in bright red or other variants: there really is something for every taste when it comes to bull sculptures!
