Last week Frank Krüger and his wife Laura were on the road in Ibiza! It wasn’t a vacation that lured her there, but the CAN Art Fair! This new art fair, taking place on the neighboring island, brings together the work of new and established artists and is an exciting new format!
CAN Art Fair
Ibiza is always worth a trip! The island with its beautiful beaches and great parties quickly casts a spell over everyone. However, these were not the reasons why Frank and Laura Krüger were drawn there last week – they were more interested in a new art fair that was taking place on the island for the first time. The CAN Art Fair Ibiza (CAN stands for Contemporary Art Now, i.e. contemporary art) brought together around 30 international galleries with works of art by around 100 artists – an impressive start!
Frank was curious about the new fair and took it as an opportunity not only to look at the works of art, but also to make appointments with some artists. After all, he is also always on the lookout for exceptional talent for the galleries! In addition to the meetings, there was of course enough time to explore the fair in peace and there was really a lot to see! We brought a few impressions with us in the pictures.
Visit an art fair
Have you ever been to an art fair? Most are also open to visitors and the art is really fun to explore. In addition, you usually get to know really interesting people at the trade fairs and, of course, you always find works of art that you really like! So a visit is worth it!
This also applies to Ibiza, by the way! Even if our heart beats for Mallorca, a trip to the neighboring island is always recommended! A sundowner at Café del Mar, a visit to the old town or just a day at the beach are always fun!
