Nothing tells a more impressive story than a face. And even if the face is “only” a piece of PopArt, it tells a lot! From the expression of the eyes to the mouth, there are some features that give a lot away. In my “Faces” series, each work of art has its own message!
Every face has a message
As an artist, I love telling stories through my colorful portraits without even a word being said. My portraits show a person’s character more or less intensely through the use of color and expressiveness in the eyes, mouth area and other unique features. Many of my PopArt portraits express emotions, which I convey through the use of color and other details. And yet the works of art also have common features, such as the bright red lips and the glow in the eyes.
I’ve done a lot of different portraits in the past, but the PopArt portraits are very special works of art, where the character is brought out through colors and not through a usual depiction. This makes the works of art even more interesting and also offers enough space for your own interpretations. From happy to thoughtful to cheeky – the faces are very different and therefore also speak to very different people!
Dentists love smiles!
An anecdote: two of the colorful PopArt paintings were sold to dentists! There they were simply amazed by the radiant smile and the great presentation of the teeth! And not only the dentists are happy about the great art, the patients also feel much more comfortable when the works of art spread a great atmosphere with their cheerful colors and beautiful smiles!
