How did the opening of the Galeria Frank Krüger in Palma actually come about? The artist Frank Krüger and his wife Laura came across a shop that was for rent while walking through Palma. They liked it immediately from the outside. As luck would have it, they were discovered by the owner of the place. He patted the two on the shoulder and asked if they were interested in the shop.

Tour of the premises

Of course, the owner had the key with him and so Frank and Laura could have a direct look at the shop. Both fell in love with the premises immediately. On the one hand, this was due to the unusual size, which is hardly available in the old town, and the exclusive location. After three days of consideration, the decision was made: the location for the Galeria Frank Krüger was found.

A renovation period followed and in 2010 Frank opened his second gallery.

Perfect location in Palma for the Galeria Frank Krüger

The gallery is located in the old town of Palma, very close to the town hall square. This privileged location means that a large number of people stroll past the gallery, either purposefully or by chance. The large shop windows also allow a great presentation of the artworks, which naturally attracts a lot of attention.

Palma’s old town is largely car-free and many pedestrian passages are often only connected by stairs. Also, the Galeria Frank Krüger can only be reached via stairs. No matter where people come from, climbing stairs is part of it. Although this makes it more difficult to deliver to the gallery, Frank and Laura are happy to accept this.
