Giclée – more than just an art print!
There are originals and there are art prints. And in between? There is giclee printing, which creates results that often cannot be distinguished from an original at first glance. This is not only due to special inks, but also to the printers themselves, which use between six and twelve different colors. That is significantly more than what our domestic printers can do. And of course you can see that in the result!
Giclee prints are not only beautiful, but also very elaborate. Because if the best possible quality is to be achieved here, the original must also be scanned in the best possible resolution. Only if the template meets the highest demands can the giclee print be fully impressive. This makes it possible to produce almost photo-realistic prints. The result is really impressive. Many are grateful for this special printing technique, especially for motifs that have already been sold, which are incredibly popular and have found many fans. Because you are so close to the original that you almost forget that it is “only” an art print!
