Even if the main season is still ahead of us, Easter in Mallorca is a “small start to the season”! It’s holidays, people want sun and sea and Mallorca offers all that and much more! This year we were also spoiled with wonderful weather, which was unusual even by Mallorcan standards – and the island was and is already well visited!
Easter – the small start to the season!
Easter is not only one of the most important holidays here in Mallorca, but also always stands for the start to the season. In the weeks before, everything is renovated, cleaned, renewed and changed so that the restaurants, hotels and shops are all open again for Easter vacationers and ensure a great time on vacation. And with all the activities that are necessary in advance, there is always the hope of good weather – because good weather brings more holidaymakers to the island!
Of course, we too have already prepared for Easter with all the galleries and were then also there for the visitors in Cala Ratjada, Artà and Palma! And there were really a lot of them! The weather invited long walks and strolls and after a delicious meal or coffee, many holidaymakers decided to visit the gallery to see the latest works of art! It’s always a great moment for us when, after the winter with the sun, many guests stroll through the streets and our galleries again!
New gallery in Artà is a magnet for visitors
Especially last Tuesday it was noticeable in Artà that the season was starting again! Our new gallery has always had visitors flocking to it, drawn by the awesome bull outside and the view of the artwork inside. In many Facebook groups we could already see that the bull was a very popular photo motif – but of course we found the many conversations with the visitors and the beaming eyes even nicer when they discovered the great works of art for themselves. Incidentally, the hummingbird on the striking green background was particularly impressive, which exudes a good mood and of course the colors go perfectly with spring!
There was also a lot of activity on the popular market and the cafés and restaurants were full of visitors! With sunshine and pleasant temperatures, the holidaymakers had a good time and thoroughly enjoyed strolling and shopping! So it was really a perfect start to the 2023 season and we are looking forward to the next few months and everyone who visits us in the galleries!
