Happy Birthday Frank Krüger! The artist, who is known for his expressive bull images and yet manages to reinvent himself again and again with his art and the chosen motifs and genres, is 59 years old today. It can also be a little more personal in the blog!
Frank impresses as an artist!
A blog post about a work of art by Frank was supposed to appear here today – but he can wait! That the artist’s birthday is today seemed much more important to me! As the writer of this blog, I’m usually in the background, but today I’m taking the liberty of congratulating Frank on his birthday in a different way!
Frank is really an extraordinary artist who simply cannot be compared with others. His art inspires again and again and also appeals to very different tastes. Whether spirited bulls, maritime motifs or surrealistic works of art in which New York plays the main role – Frank reinvents himself again and again with his art and inspires countless people.
Exceptional success
When Frank came to Mallorca, nobody was waiting for him here. But with a lot of hard work, faith in himself and later also the unlimited support of his wife Laura, he asserted himself bit by bit and made more than just a profession out of his passion. Today he is the only artist in Europe who runs four of his own galleries – despite the difficult times we are all currently experiencing. This is exactly what sets Frank and his wife Laura apart: When things get difficult, they don’t bury their heads in the sand, but find solutions and take risks in order to continue to hold onto their dreams and goals.
When I saw a work of art by Frank for the first time – it was an elephant in the gallery at the port of Cala Ratjada – I was blown away immediately. At the time, I couldn’t imagine that I would have the opportunity to work with the great artist at some point. Today it is like this and I have since learned a lot from Frank – about art, but above all about dealing with people! Frank is an artist who not only puts a lot of heart into his work, but also likes to get to know the people who like his art! The exchange with others, whether online on Facebook & Co or directly in the galleries, is very important to him. And from many conversations I know how much the stories he has experienced through his art mean to him.
Artist with a heart
When Frank starts to talk, you can feel with every word how grateful he is for being able to live his passion for art. And how grateful he is for everyone who looks at and likes his art. Perhaps that is precisely why it is so important to the artist to give a lot. Again and again he takes part in charity campaigns or organizes auctions himself to help those who are not doing so well. And it’s not only there that Frank shows his big heart. Anyone who has ever seen him with his family knows how much his wife and daughter mean to him and how important they are to him in his work. They are the greatest motivators and at the same time critics for him and always offer support.
I could tell you more about the artist and person I was able to get to know in the last 1.5 years of our collaboration and now also call a friend. But I’m sure his fans know exactly what Frank is all about. The only thing left for me to do at this point is to say: Happy Birthday Frank! I wish you all the best for your new year from the bottom of my heart! Stay healthy and above all yourself – because the world needs people like you who are reliable, straightforward and also a little crazy!
