At the moment there is hardly any other topic on Mallorca that is discussed more than the weather! While the beginning of the year and April were very warm and sunny, May is now rather changeable and always has surprises in store. But even if it rains here and there – the evenings are usually very nice, lure you outside with mild temperatures and invite you to stroll!
Stroll along the Paseo in Cala Ratjada
We often talk to holidaymakers and (part-time) residents in the gallery about Cala Ratjada and what they particularly love about this place. In addition to the beautiful beaches and the warm people, the Paseo in particular is often mentioned. Strolling there in the evening after a nice day of vacation, eating delicious food or enjoying a cocktail is one of the absolute highlights for most vacationers! After parts of the paseo were redesigned last year and now have a beautiful planting, nothing stands in the way of fun!
We also love the evening atmosphere on the Paseo – especially when we can enjoy it from the balcony of our gallery. The view of the people, the lights of the harbor and the sea are just indescribably beautiful and you just can’t get enough of it! The visitors of the gallery are always enthusiastic when they can enjoy the view as well as the great art. And that’s not a problem either, because the gallery is open every evening until 10 p.m. and also offers the opportunity to simply enjoy the atmosphere of this beautiful place with a glass of champagne!
Cala Ratjada is filling up!
This year, many visitors have come to the island early. While it was still winter in Germany, Mallorca lured with sunshine and warm temperatures. So there were already a lot of visitors at Easter and the beaches were well frequented. The first brave ones have already dared to go into the water and thus enjoyed their vacation to the fullest! If you haven’t felt like going to the beach yet, there are of course many other ways to enjoy your holiday. Strolling, hiking, cycling tours – on Mallorca and especially in Cala Ratjada there is always something going on and boredom does not arise.
We were happy about the many visitors in the galleries in Palma, Artá and Cala Ratjada and were able to have many great conversations and meet nice people. So it’s been a really good start to the new season so far and we’re looking forward to the coming months and everything that’s to come! There is always something new to discover in the galleries, so it’s worth stopping by more often!
