Who needs the largest catwalks in the world when you can become an eye-catching model at the weekly market in Artà? Frank and Laura have once again managed to amaze people and rarely have so many mobile phones and cameras been pulled out in the pedestrian zone.
The model introduces herself!
Anyone who visited the market in Artà last Tuesday could not avoid the new shooting star. Right in the middle of the action, surrounded by locals and tourists, Frank Krüger’s new bull stood out from the crowd and not only magically attracted everyone’s eyes, but also the cameras! Bright red, shiny metallic and life-size, he took over his small stage and showed everyone the way to the gallery, where there is much more of Frank’s art to be admired!
And who now thinks: “There is already a red bull sculpture by Frank, that’s nothing new!” – he hasn’t seen the latest sculpture yet. Not only the color alone is striking here, but also the special paint. For the special effect, there was first a primer with a chrome color and then a transparent red tone – a so-called candy paint! The result is breathtaking and more than just an eye-catcher!
The herd of bulls is getting bigger!
From the first idea for the bull sculptures to the first completed sculpture, it took a good two years – and now the herd of bulls is growing! Each sculpture is unique and many of them have very special paint finishes that attract a lot of attention! Very exclusive ideas were also implemented – such as one of the small bull sculptures, which was completely wrapped in gold leaf from the 1960s as a birthday present.
As an artist, Frank has fulfilled a big dream with the bulls. From the first sketch to the finishing after painting, everything comes from his hand! The sculptures were cast according to his designs and brought from the mainland to Mallorca, where Frank will finish them.
