The Christmas decorations can already be seen everywhere and it feels like the whole of Mallorca is excited for the lights to be switched on. But Palma’s old town always has its charm and strolling through the streets and alleys always puts you in a good mood!

The small streets and alleys are just beautiful and make a visit to the island’s capital so special. One of those lovely streets to explore is Calle Apuntadors! Here you will find hotels, restaurants and, of course, residential buildings that exude their charm at any time of the year. A walk like this is best rounded off with a visit to a bar, where you can soak up the atmosphere with a cafe con leche or a vino tinto.

And where moods generate emotions, an artist cannot hold his brush still for a long time, but reproduces his impressions. Palma in Advent
If you are already enthusiastic about Palma at normal times, you will love the Advent season in the city! Weeks in advance, the city will begin to be decorated with fairy lights and trees will be put up. The lighting is then traditionally switched on at the end of November – currently due to the Corona problem, however, without the event that is otherwise made of it. However, this does not detract from the mood that the lights create! Also this year the lighting will create this very special atmosphere from November 24th!
Many Palma fans come to the island again during Advent just because of the beautiful lighting and enjoy a few days in Palma. A visit to the Christmas market is of course always a cherished duty! All kinds of handicrafts and Christmas decorations are on offer there until January. And of course there are plenty of delicacies for your physical well-being!
