Spring in Mallorca usually means everyone gets outside, soaks up the sun and looks forward to enjoying this wonderful island every day. Everything seems to be a little different this year! After we were spoiled with lots of sun and an unusually large number of warm days in Mallorca in January and February, the weather is now (again quite atypical) showing a different side. Instead of a few days with rain showers and otherwise lots of spring sunshine, we now have a completely different reality in front of the door with gray skies, cool temperatures and often long-lasting drizzle. So you can almost understand it when long faces can be seen in many places and holidaymakers sit disappointed in the hotels – but really only almost!
Yes, the weather has become unpredictable, but we can still try to make the best of it and still enjoy the slightly different beginning of spring here. With the right clothing, hikes are fun even in cooler temperatures and drizzle, and if you are still attentive and have a positive attitude, you will discover so many beautiful things on the left and right of the path that the lack of sun hardly matters. Spring begins in the heart – and if you miss it too much, you can easily bring it into your home with the art print!
