The Christmas roast is digested, the family visits are done – and “between the years” now there is time to take a deep breath, relax and of course also to look back on the last twelve months. As is so often the case, they seem to have flown by and all that remains is to say thank you for all the beautiful moments and the great people in 2022! And here in the blog is the perfect place to review the year!

The year 2022 has been really exciting again with so many great things Frank and Laura want to celebrate! Especially at the beginning of the year things are off to a good start, because Frank moved into his new studio with lots of space to express his creativity. More space was also urgently needed, because at the beginning of March the long-awaited day finally came: the bull sculptures started their journey to Mallorca and Frank was finally able to implement all the creative ideas that had been in his head for a long time! Many great sculptures were created over the year, which are real eye-catchers and already have many fans.
But of course not only the bull sculptures were created this year, but also many other great works of art. In addition to commissioned work, Frank has primarily created new bull and elephant portraits. There are also new motifs for the colorful PopArt faces, which were already popular in 2021, and which were immediately well received. At the end of the year there was another bang when it came to the artistic part: the new gallery in Artà was occupied and the ground floor opened just before Christmas! It can already be seen that this gallery is setting new standards again and will soon inspire people with great art on three floors!

Anyone who knows Frank and Laura knows that the family also likes to be on the road and that Frank in particular gets a lot of inspiration when travelling! The Krügers were on the road a lot again this year. The special highlight was of course the trip to New York in early summer. The city is simply Frank’s favorite place and gives him energy! Now that it has not been possible to travel there for a long time, we were of course very happy to absorb the very special atmosphere of the city again this year.
In addition to New York, there were also smaller trips to the Spanish mainland, to Berlin, to an art fair in Ibiza and in the fall to Italy, where Frank and Laura visited other artists and brought great new art for the galleries. In November, for Frank’s 60th birthday, Laura and Lara took us to Vienna, which was already aglow with Christmas splendor and of course also had a lot to offer in terms of art!

If 2022 was so eventful, how will 2023 be? What is certain is that the new year will not be boring and that Frank and Laura will implement many ideas again. We are all looking forward to it – and to the many beautiful moments and encounters that we can then experience together.
