Every exceptional artist has a muse that inspires and supports him. Frank Krüger moved to Mallorca in 1992 to concentrate fully on his art. It is a beautiful island that offers plenty of scope for creativity and beauty. This resulted in unique works, some of which are still available as art prints today.
Laura – the super fan
In 2004 Frank met his Laura. From the beginning she was a super fan of his art. So, it is not surprising that she always supported the artist in every way and everywhere. She encouraged Frank that his art absolutely had to be presented in public, in an art gallery that also bears his name. Said and done. The “Galeria Frank Krüger” on the harbour promenade in Cala Ratjada on Mallorca has existed since 2007.
Laura – the muse
Laura, the muse of Frank, was and is a great support for him. Even in difficult times, she is the strong woman at his side. With tips, criticism, suggestions, feedback and support, she gives Frank the strength he needs to clear up any doubts that may arise or to survive a less creative phase. Laura keeps Frank’s back free. She takes care of transport, customers, payments, etc. in the art galleries. Not to forget, she is also a loving mother.
The key to success
The key to success, be it the gallery or the marriage of the two, is a loving and relaxed contact, mutual understanding, a togetherness without coercion, reproaches or teasing, lots of love and freedom. Frank: “Laura, my muse, is extremely important in my life, because without her I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
Did you know that Frank is the only gallery owner in Europe who runs four of his own galleries? There are just under 10 other artists worldwide who can say that about themself. Visit a Galeria Frank Krüger, be it in Berlin or in Mallorca in Cala Ratjada, Palma or Artà!
