Mallorca has been a magnet for the beautiful things in life for a long time – and of course art is part of that! And with us it means three times art on Mallorca, because with our beautiful galleries we offer a contact point in the most beautiful places for everyone who is interested in great art and, above all, nice conversations. Because galleries are always a place for encounters – especially in Cala Ratjada that’s part of the concept!
Gallery in Cala Ratjada (Carrer Castellet 3)
While we’re still renovating the first and second floors of our new gallery in Artà, we’ve looked back a little on the “journey” we’ve made with art here on the island. It all started with the small fisherman’s garage in Cala Ratjada, before moving on to the small gallery at the port. There my works of art were already an integral part of the townscape and often the small rooms, in which I had also divided off a corner as a studio, were not large enough for the number of visitors. The new gallery in Cala Ratjada, which was occupied in the central part of the Paseo in 2021, now offers enough space and a wonderful view of the harbor. The gallery has a champagne bar, so the works of art and the view can be enjoyed even better on the terraces with a glass of champagne!
Gallery in Palma (Costa d’en Brossa 3)
When it comes to art on Mallorca, Palma is of course the first port of call for many. And here, too, we have been present with our beautiful gallery in the old town for years! When strolling through the small alleys, many people’s path leads right past us and the works of art in the window invite you to visit the gallery directly. The large gallery on two floors invites you to discover the works of various artists and for many is simply a starting point for a visit to the old town!
Gallery in Artà (Carrer de Ciutat 6)
Brand new is the gallery on the main street in Artà – the city where art is in the name! Only at the end of last year did we move from the gallery on a side street to the new rooms on the main street. There will be great art from me and other impressive artists on three floors in the future and we look forward to becoming a highlight for art lovers in the beautiful city. The ground floor is already open and attracts many visitors – with the completion of the other floors, the official opening will be celebrated in spring!
Experience art on Mallorca
It’s extraordinary as an artist to run three galleries yourself – but I think it’s even nicer that each gallery really has its own ambience and yet of course also bears our signature. In this way, our visitors can quickly find their favorite gallery or even take a small tour of the island and be amazed by the works of art at all three locations. A visit to the Palma Gallery in the morning, followed by lunch in one of the beautiful restaurants in the old town. In the afternoon a stroll in Artà’s pedestrian zone with a visit to the gallery – and in the evening, after a walk along the Paseo, a glass of champagne on the terrace of the gallery in Cala Ratjada. Doesn’t that sound like a perfect day?
