When the artist Frank Krüger celebrates his 60th birthday, the gift can be something very special! His wife Laura and daughter Lara simply kidnapped him on a short trip to Vienna and enjoyed the city to the fullest – and that’s really not difficult in Vienna either! Beautiful architecture meets coffee specialties and the simply unique way of the Viennese and makes the trip something special!
Have you already seen Vienna at night?
“Have you already seen Vienna at night?” – this is the question asked by the Austrian musician Reinhard Fendrich, who had a finca near Artà for a long time. And Vienna at night is really beautiful when St. Stephen’s Cathedral and other buildings are festively illuminated. But the Austrian capital also has a lot to offer during the day and so Frank, Laura and Lara never had the slightest hint of boredom, but rather enjoyed the city trip to the fullest!
Christmas market on Rathausplatz, strolling through the Naschmarkt, enjoying coffee in a coffee house and of course culinary highlights that everyone associates with Vienna were on the program for the family’s short vacation – and much more! Of course, a visit to the Prater was not to be missed either, which, in addition to the Ferris wheel, offers many other highlights and is simply beautifully situated. The time almost flew by and the holiday was over far too quickly!
Successful birthday surprise
The trip to Vienna was a birthday surprise for Frank Krüger. On the day of his 60th birthday, his wife and daughter simply put him in the car with the words “pack some warm clothes” and only found out at the airport gate where he was going for the short trip. A really successful surprise, Frank loves to travel and with Vienna we went to a city that really has a lot to offer.
In addition to the sights and the treats, there was of course also art, but we will report on that separately.
