Art purchasing is an important part of the gallery business for Frank and Laura. They fly a lot around the world to acquire exclusive works of art for the Galeria Frank Krüger. They also visit many art fairs in Europe and look for the right art objects.
Art purchasing overseas
Frank has many contacts to extraordinary artists in New York. He visits them every year when he travels to New York with Laura. There is an extremely high density of galleries in New York, which brings a lot of art and inspiration with it.
Frank is constantly looking for new artists whose art he can exhibit in the Galeria Frank Krüger. New York with its large number of artists is therefore the perfect place for this project. Frank has always been very successful in his search and is currently exhibiting artworks of six New York artists in his galleries in Mallorca.
Art always in view
Relaxation and fun are always a big issue on all trips. At least as important, however, is the search for new art objects for the galleries. As already mentioned, Frank does most of the shopping in New York, but also in Paris or Miami. Recently Frank has also started to exhibit the art of a Parisian artist.
Frank and Laura also bring art objects from other holiday destinations to Mallorca to introduce them to the island’s art lovers.
